A small fee is charged and payable by the patient at the time of transportation.

Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service is for patients who are unable to use their own, public or community transport because of a medical condition. It caters for those patients who are either too ill to get to or from hospital without assistance, or for whom getting there may cause their condition to deteriorate.
