The Immunology Laboratory is part of a network of clinical immunology services across Yorkshire and the Humber, offering advice and tests for the investigation and monitoring of immunodeficiency, autoimmune disease, allergy and monoclonal gammopathies.

The department is accredited by UKAS under ISO15189:2012 standards and participates in all relevant National Quality Assurance Schemes. We are an approved training centre for FRCPath, STP and HSST clinical scientist training and IBMS approved training laboratory for biomedical scientists. We support NAEQAG (Northern Autoimmune Educational and Quality Assurance Group) and host an annual meeting. We are also part of TRIAC (Trent and Region Immunology and Allergy Consortium) network of immunology and allergy centres.

Non-urgent clinical advice can be obtained by emailing for allergy and for allergy and immunology advice respectively.

See Blood Sciences for opening times, members of the team and contact details.
