The Pathology division will conduct formal service user satisfaction surveys. The information gained from these surveys will enable laboratory management to look at the service we provide.
The short survey, which takes around a few minutes to complete, will help with the continuous evaluation of the service, helping the service to improve provision and plan their service priorities.

Complaints and Compliments
Compliments are valuable for our continual quality improvement, as positive reinforcement and serve as one of our motivators. Compliments will be recorded by the concerned department and passed on to the relevant member of staff and their manager. Please email Pathology.Enquiries@hey.nhs.uk with the subject line: Compliments. All customer feedback received is also recounted at the Pathology Governance Committee for further review.
If you have any concerns about the services provided by the laboratory, please let us through our Patient Advice and Liaison Service. Formal complaints will be investigated in full accordance with Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust procedures.
