Chemotherapy is administered in both in-patient (wards 30 to 33) and out-patient settings (day treatment unit). The key objectives of the service are to provide a seamless delivery of chemotherapy for both out-patients and in-patients in both Oncology and Haematology. We aim to ensure that the pathway from referral to delivery of chemotherapy is well coordinated and in alliance with agreed protocols. Our aim is to ensure safety in the delivery of chemotherapy and allied treatments and to ensure adherence to Network approved chemotherapy protocols. We maintain high training standards for all staff involved in the management pathway.

We endeavour to obtain patient feedback at every opportunity to continue to improve our service and maintain a high standard for the patients that we treat.
