Ward 130 has 20 beds and cares for children and young people from 0-16 years with a variety of medical conditions requiring admission. The types of conditions children are admitted with include:
- Asthma
- Diabetes
- Neurology
- General infection
We also provide shared care, with Leeds Teaching Hospitals, for children/young people with cardiology problems and cancer, e.g. leukaemia.
Facilities
Ward 130 has a playroom and is staffed by play specialists. If you normally go to school and are well enough during your hospital stay, you may meet our teacher and visit our schoolroom.
