Research, Development and Innovation

Are you passionate about clinical research in the NHS?

Patient Research Ambassadors Initiative (PRAI) (formerly Involvement4 Access) is a project which aims to improve how NHS patients can find out about and participate in research in their local NHS care organisation and we believe that patients are best placed to make this happen.

The project’s main objective is to encourage local NHS organisations to establish Patient Research Ambassadors (PRAs). Patient Research Ambassadors are patients, carers or lay people with a passion for research who want to help other patients to have better choices about participating in research through their local NHS.
