Cancer Psychological Service

The Cancer Psychological Service is part of the Oncology Health Centre based in the Queen’s Centre for Oncology and Haematology at Castle Hill Hospital. We offer emotional and psychological support to people experiencing cancer and their relatives. Our aim is to help you achieve the best possible health and quality of life during and after your treatment.

Can we help you?
Alongside the other members of the team involved in your treatment, we are here to:

  • help you achieve the best possible health and quality of life during and after your treatment
  • give you information you feel would be helpful
  • offer you support and practical help
  • discuss any matters that are troubling you and your family
  • provide access to various ‘self-help’ resources, such as specific types of relaxation and visualisation

Please note: Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing rules, we are aware that it is difficult to access our usual services here in the Cancer Psychological Service. This webpage has been designed by our team to help you access valuable resources that were once offered when we were open as a Drop-In. We hope that in the future we can resume face-to-face support, but it is currently unknown when this may be. In the meantime please take a look at what support our webpage has to offer you.
