Each year at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust we celebrate our fantastic staff and their amazing work by hosting the Golden Hearts Awards Ceremony. Staff are asked to nominate their colleagues for these awards and they are then shortlisted by a panel consisting of our Executive Team, staff and patient representatives, and the winner chosen. The shortlisted candidates are then invited to the awards ceremony for a night of celebration and fun and brought together with staff from across the Trust to celebrate the brilliant work that they deliver on a daily basis. Attendees always leave feeling uplifted after seeing the great work that they and their colleagues have showcased.
